The Opportunity:
As a Minibus Driver, you will provide a safe and efficient transport service for pupils, ensuring they arrive at and return from school on time. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, responsible, and committed to the well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive minibus in accordance with all safety and legal requirements.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of pupils during all journeys.
- Maintain the minibus to a high standard, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all school transport policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff and pupils to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete all required paperwork and records accurately.
- Assist with loading and unloading pupils when necessary.
- Adhere to all traffic and road safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
Preferred
- D1 category driving licence.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics role.
- Familiarity with route planning and scheduling.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate of £12.38, with a total salary of £4234 per year.
