The Opportunity:
Join a school in Kuwait as a Modern Foreign Language Teacher and inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is ideal for someone passionate about language acquisition and eager to contribute to a growing and innovative curriculum in French, German, or Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love of language and cultural understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Uphold and promote the school’s core values of respect, integrity, confidence, positivity, and empathy.
- Support the wellbeing of students and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Lead and deliver at least two out of three blocks of one-hour extra-curricular activities as part of the school’s annual programme.
- Continuously evaluate and reflect on teaching methods to improve practice and student outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching Modern Foreign Languages at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in French, German, or Spanish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Preferred
- Experience with the British Curriculum or equivalent.
- Familiarity with extra-curricular activity planning and delivery.
- Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
- Demonstrated success in fostering a culture of respect and creativity in the classroom.
