The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive faculty. This role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to a school that consistently achieves outstanding results in Spanish and French at both GCSE and A Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Spanish and French across all Key Stages.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to challenge and engage students.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support and interventions where needed.
- Collaborate with Heads of Department to enhance curriculum delivery and student achievement.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and practices.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being and success.
- Prepare and assess coursework, examinations, and other assessments in line with school standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Modern Foreign Languages.
- Ability to teach Spanish and French across all Key Stages.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Spanish to A Level.
- Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and attainment.
- Experience with Trivium 21C teaching approaches or similar methodologies.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
