Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across all Key Stages.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that reflects the school’s values and high standards.
- Motivate and support students to achieve their full potential in music.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s music program and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to staff training and development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being.
- Support the school’s mission to foster a culture of high expectations and achievement.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community through events and communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching experience, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in music.
- Experience in teaching across Key Stages.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with music technology and digital teaching tools.
- Experience in leading extracurricular music activities.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar.
- Experience in a co-educational or mixed setting.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
