Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the IB curriculum and school standards
  • Provide regular feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress using official platforms
  • Support students in MYP Personal Projects and DP Extended Essays
  • Participate in academic meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Uphold school values and promote a positive learning environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives
  • Engage in professional development and support the ongoing growth of the teaching team

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience teaching A Level, AP, IB MYP or IB DP
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development
  • Experience teaching students aged 11–16
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • High levels of personal integrity and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience with IB curricula
  • Experience working in an international setting
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching Theory of Knowledge
  • Experience teaching students aged 17–18
  • Willingness to take on co-curricular responsibilities
