Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the MYP framework and IB standards.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and cross-curricular projects.
  • Support student well-being and personal growth through meaningful feedback and mentorship.
  • Stay current with educational research and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s academic programs and curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Social Studies, or related field.
  • Valid teaching qualification and experience teaching MYP Individuals and Societies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the IB philosophy and values.

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
  • Familiarity with the IPC or English National Curriculum.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
  • Leadership experience or involvement in curriculum development.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
