The Opportunity:

As a Netball Coach, you will lead and deliver high-quality netball coaching sessions that inspire and develop young athletes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about netball and dedicated to growing the sport at both a competitive and community level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and support netball coaching sessions during games lessons, practices, and inter-school fixtures.
  • Develop and implement training programmes tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to enhance player performance and promote a positive sporting culture.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective sports programme.
  • Support the school’s commitment to broad participation and the development of elite-level netball.
  • Attend pre-season training and contribute to the overall development of the school’s netball programme.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential both on and off the court.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of school facilities and equipment during coaching sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 2 Netball Coaching Qualification
  • Experience coaching netball within an independent school, club, or performance pathway
  • Evidence of playing or coaching netball to a good standard
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience working with young athletes in a school environment
  • Knowledge of sports development and talent identification
  • Understanding of the principles of sports coaching and player development
  • Experience with inter-school fixtures and competition organisation
