The Opportunity:
A Netball Coach is needed to support students in developing their skills and passion for the sport. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student performance and engagement in netball.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver training sessions to improve student netball skills.
- Organize and manage home and away games, including travel arrangements.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all training and match activities.
- Communicate regularly with the school to update on team progress and student development.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging coaching environment.
- Attend all scheduled training and match days as outlined in the timetable.
- Ensure compliance with all school policies and procedures.
- Travel to and from training and match locations as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience coaching netball at a junior or youth level.
- Ability to plan and deliver structured training sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student development and sports participation.
Preferred
- D1 category driving licence.
- Experience working in an educational or sports setting.
- Knowledge of netball rules and strategies.
- Experience with youth sports teams or similar roles.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Approx. £2,000 per academic year.
- Payment per training session, home game, and away game.
- Flexible working hours during term time.
