Key Responsibilities:
- Support the holistic development of children through structured and creative learning activities
- Monitor and assess children’s progress to plan and implement effective learning experiences
- Act as a key person for a specific group of children, ensuring consistent and personalized care
- Liaise with parents to provide regular updates on their child’s development and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of children’s learning and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a stimulating and inclusive curriculum
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification such as NNEB, CACHE, or NVQ in Childcare
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and with parents
- Commitment to child development and early education
Preferred
- Experience working in a Montessori setting
- Experience with child behavior management and positive reinforcement techniques
- Familiarity with child safeguarding policies and procedures
