Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the holistic development of children through structured and creative learning activities
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress to plan and implement effective learning experiences
  • Act as a key person for a specific group of children, ensuring consistent and personalized care
  • Liaise with parents to provide regular updates on their child’s development and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s learning and progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a stimulating and inclusive curriculum

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification such as NNEB, CACHE, or NVQ in Childcare
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and with parents
  • Commitment to child development and early education

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Montessori setting
  • Experience with child behavior management and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Familiarity with child safeguarding policies and procedures
