The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our expanding Kindergarten team. This role plays a vital part in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2 to 5. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that supports both children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the school's standards and values.
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging and stimulating activities for young children.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to promote the school’s mission and vision.
  • Participate in the life of the school, including events and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in a full-day care setting.
  • Knowledge of early years curricula and best practices.
  • Experience with child protection screening processes.
  • Flexibility to work across a range of hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
