The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our expanding Kindergarten team. This role plays a vital part in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2 to 5. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that supports both children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the school's standards and values.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging and stimulating activities for young children.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to promote the school’s mission and vision.
- Participate in the life of the school, including events and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold and promote the school’s commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 childcare qualification.
- Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in a full-day care setting.
- Knowledge of early years curricula and best practices.
- Experience with child protection screening processes.
- Flexibility to work across a range of hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
