The Opportunity:
As a Nursery Practitioner Level 3, you will be responsible for the care and education of young children aged 6 months to 4 years. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that support the holistic growth of young children.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and participation.
- Work closely with children to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent and high-quality care and education.
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress and development.
- Support the implementation of the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
- Provide guidance and support to children in a caring and professional manner.
- Participate in staff training and development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A willingness to train towards or hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the well-being and development of young children.
Preferred
- Experience in designing and delivering educational activities for young children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
