The Opportunity:

As a Nursery Practitioner Level 3, you will be responsible for the care and education of young children aged 6 months to 4 years. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that support the holistic growth of young children.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and participation.
  • Work closely with children to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent and high-quality care and education.
  • Maintain detailed records of children's progress and development.
  • Support the implementation of the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to children in a caring and professional manner.
  • Participate in staff training and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A willingness to train towards or hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the well-being and development of young children.

Preferred

  • Experience in designing and delivering educational activities for young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.
  • Experience with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
