The Opportunity:
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning experiences of young children, fostering their development in a stimulating and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a key person to a specific group of children
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities for the children
- Liaise with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development
- Monitor and track children’s development, progression and plan their next steps
- Support the overall delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality care and education
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (e.g., NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities
Preferred
- Experience with Montessori methodology
- Experience in a child-led learning environment
- Familiarity with child development theories and practices
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,500
