The Opportunity:

As a Nursery Teacher (EYFS), you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This position is ideal for educators passionate about early childhood development and committed to fostering social-emotional growth, independence, and 21st-century skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of young children.
  • Collaborate with support staff and other teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Work closely with parents to maintain open communication and support the well-being of each child.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Promote the development of 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified early years teacher with experience in the EYFS framework.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to fostering a child-centered learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the British Curriculum.
  • Experience with bilingual or multicultural education.
  • Previous experience with children aged 2-5 years.
  • Proficiency in English and willingness to learn additional languages.
