The Opportunity:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning. This role is essential to supporting the school’s mission and values, and you will lead the support staff team to deliver exceptional service and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the school.
- Lead and support the school’s support staff team to ensure they perform to the highest standards.
- Oversee financial, HR, and health and safety processes.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies for medium- and long-term planning.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all operations.
- Ensure a positive and professional environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to achieve the school’s goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Proven experience in management within a school or office environment.
- Experience managing financial, HR, or health and safety processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with confidence and flexibility.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality front-of-house experiences.
Preferred
- Experience in education or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with educational institutions’ operations.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
