The Opportunity:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning. This role is essential to supporting the school’s mission and values, and you will lead the support staff team to deliver exceptional service and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Lead and support the school’s support staff team to ensure they perform to the highest standards.
  • Oversee financial, HR, and health and safety processes.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for medium- and long-term planning.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all operations.
  • Ensure a positive and professional environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to achieve the school’s goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in management within a school or office environment.
  • Experience managing financial, HR, or health and safety processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with confidence and flexibility.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality front-of-house experiences.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with educational institutions’ operations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
