Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach P.E. across all key stages, including examination courses at KS4 and KS5.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and welfare.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement P.E. programs.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Stay up to date with developments in P.E. and physical education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in P.E.
  • Experience teaching P.E. at KS4 and KS5.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Specialism in hockey or netball.
  • Experience with examination P.E. courses.
  • Experience working with ECTs or in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with the school’s values of respect, opportunity, and achievement.
