Key Responsibilities:
- Teach P.E. across all key stages, including examination courses at KS4 and KS5.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement P.E. programs.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
- Stay up to date with developments in P.E. and physical education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in P.E.
- Experience teaching P.E. at KS4 and KS5.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Specialism in hockey or netball.
- Experience with examination P.E. courses.
- Experience working with ECTs or in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with the school’s values of respect, opportunity, and achievement.
