The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PA to Senior Leadership Team and HR Administrator to provide essential administrative and HR support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the school and the effective delivery of HR services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the administrative and HR needs of the Senior Leadership Team and Headteacher.
- Provide professional and efficient administrative support across multiple work streams.
- Ensure the smooth operation of HR processes, including staff onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Maintain accurate records and manage confidential information with discretion.
- Support the school’s administrative functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and meetings.
- Collaborate with the wider school community and Trust to deliver a high standard of service.
- Assist in the implementation of innovative strategies to improve administrative and HR efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in a senior administrative or HR role.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
- Proficient in using IT systems and office software.
- A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Experience with school-based HR support and administration.
- Familiarity with the SEARCH Education Trust and its values.
