The Opportunity:
As a PAC Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Performing Arts Centre, ensuring that all technical aspects of productions and events run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all technical equipment and systems within the Performing Arts Centre.
- Support the planning, setup, and execution of school events, performances, and productions.
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of events.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of audio, visual, and stage equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new technical initiatives and ideas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all technical operations.
- Provide training and support to students and staff on the use of technical equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a technical or stage management role within an educational or performance setting.
- Strong knowledge of audio, visual, and stage equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or college environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard technical software and systems.
- Previous experience in event management or production support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
