The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Painter and Decorator to join our Operations Team and help maintain the school’s buildings and facilities to the highest standard. This role is essential in ensuring that the school environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paint and decorate internal and external areas of the school buildings
  • Carry out basic maintenance duties across the school site
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Operations Team
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all users of the school
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines
  • Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in painting and decorating
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of work
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
  • Experience with health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work across different areas of the school site
