The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated team and support our A-level group. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
- Develop and implement engaging, practical teaching resources and lesson plans.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and fostering a love for the subject.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students when required.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Computer Science education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science at secondary level.
- Proven ability to teach across a range of age groups and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Willingness to undergo DBS checks and police vetting.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A-level Computer Science.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience working in a small, independent school setting.
- Fluency in additional languages (especially for international students).
