The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated team and support our A-level group. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging, practical teaching resources and lesson plans.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and fostering a love for the subject.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science at secondary level.
  • Proven ability to teach across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Willingness to undergo DBS checks and police vetting.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A-level Computer Science.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience working in a small, independent school setting.
  • Fluency in additional languages (especially for international students).
