Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Drama and English to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and pedagogical strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching and learning.
- Support students’ personal and academic development through pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in staff development programs and ongoing professional learning opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the school’s vision and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Drama and English education.
- Commitment to evidence-based teaching and continuous professional development.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering drama and English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in education.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring other teachers.
- Background in a Research School or similar educational setting.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
