The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to ensure the school environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in maintaining the standards that support the wellbeing and success of students. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful and supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the school.
  • Respond promptly to requests for assistance and support from staff and students.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
  • Manage cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Support the overall maintenance of a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the support team.
  • Assist with general housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Keep records and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a clean, organised approach to work.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 19:30.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety procedures.
  • Experience working in an educational or care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
