The Opportunity:

As a Part Time Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting students across residential, classroom, and hotel environments. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them develop the skills needed for independence and future employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in residential houses, classroom settings, and the Foxes Hotel.
  • Assist in managing student behaviour and promote positive learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with tutors and house managers to create a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Provide one-to-one support to monitor and encourage students’ personal development and independence.
  • Promote life skills such as cooking, personal hygiene, communication, and teamwork.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins, on a two-week rota.
  • Encourage students to reach their full potential through consistent support and guidance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Willingness to work a flexible rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.
  • Commitment to supporting students with learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in education, care, or a similar support role.
  • Background in working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Level 3 qualification in education or care.
  • Full UK driving licence.
