Part Time Learning Support Practitioner - Aurora Foxes

The Opportunity:
As a Part Time Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting students across residential, hotel, and classroom settings. You will help students develop life skills and work towards independence and sustainable employment in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in residential houses, Foxes Hotel, and classroom settings to reach their full potential.
- Assist in managing student behaviour and seek guidance when necessary.
- Collaborate with tutors to create a positive and proactive learning environment.
- Promote the development of life skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, and communication.
- Provide 1:1 support to students, monitoring their personal development and independence.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins, on a two-week rota.
- Encourage students to build confidence and prepare for independent living.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Willingness to work on a rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable, though full training is provided.
Preferred
- Background in care or education.
- Understanding of working with individuals with disabilities.
- Level 3 qualification in education or care.
- Full UK driving licence.
