A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Part-Time Music Teacher (0.6 FTE) to inspire and engage students aged 13-18. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping students reach their full potential in Music, while contributing to the vibrant academic and cultural life of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Music lessons to students aged 13-18, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning experience.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s strong academic and cultural standards.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their development in Music.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in Music education.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A high-quality degree in Music and/or Music Education.
- Experience teaching Music to students aged 13-18.
- A strong commitment to student welfare and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with international curricula.
- Experience with a range of musical instruments and performance styles.
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular music programs.
