The Opportunity:

A Part-Time Russian Teacher is sought to deliver high-quality instruction in Russian Language A: Literature and Russian Language B at the IB level. The role involves teaching a range of year groups and providing one-on-one lessons. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inspiring educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Russian Language A: Literature and Russian Language B to students across multiple year groups.
  • Deliver one-on-one lessons of 45 minutes in person, tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through engaging and culturally rich teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and the school’s academic team to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Participate in school activities and contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Provide feedback and assessments in line with IB standards and requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Russian language and international education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native or first-language speaker of Russian.
  • Qualified and experienced teacher of Russian as a first language and foreign language.
  • Experience in teaching at the IB Diploma Programme level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.

Preferred

  • Experience with delivering IB courses.
  • Background in teaching Italian as a first language.
  • Experience working in an international, multilingual school environment.
  • Familiarity with intercultural education and student pastoral care.
