The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Spanish Teacher KS3-4 to join an ambitious and supportive department. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and help them achieve outstanding results in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4 students following the AQA syllabus.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge a diverse range of students.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the MFL curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding results at GCSE and A Level.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A Level.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos.
  • Experience with enrichment opportunities or extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with NPQs or a commitment to professional development.
