The Opportunity:

As a Pastoral and SEND Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Pastoral, Wellbeing, and Safeguarding teams. This role is central to ensuring the welfare and safety of students, while also supporting the SEN department and international pupil oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diaries, inboxes, and meetings for pastoral leaders
  • Maintain accurate records and support recruitment and budgeting activities
  • Assist with pupil wellbeing provision, including counselling and the Pastoral Hub
  • Support the SEN department and oversee international pupil matters, including guardianship and visa compliance
  • Administer safeguarding processes, including supporting meetings and maintaining child protection records
  • Ensure staff training and statutory requirements are up to date
  • Monitor pupils of concern and maintain safeguarding systems

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Experience in a school or safeguarding environment
  • Ability to work discreetly and professionally

Preferred

  • Experience in administrative support within education
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
  • Familiarity with managing international pupil requirements
