Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and deliver the Middle Years Program (MYP) PE curriculum and IBDP Sports, Exercise and Health Science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative, student-centered teaching practices.
  • Support students in achieving academic and personal growth through a holistic and inclusive approach.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of extracurricular activities and sports programs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their development as responsible global citizens.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, assessment development, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and performance data.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to enhance student learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • University degree and recognized teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB program.
  • Strong understanding of the IB learner profile and pedagogy.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, student-centered lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching PE and SEHS at the IB level.
  • Familiarity with the Nord Anglia Education global network and its values.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
