Join a dynamic PE Faculty as a PE Teacher Assistant, assisting in the delivery of Sport/PE lessons, fixtures, and co-curricular activities across both Senior and Junior Schools. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of Sport/PE lessons across all year groups.
  • Support the day-to-day running of a busy PE Faculty.
  • Help organize and manage fixtures and co-curricular sporting events.
  • Contribute to the development of boarding and school duties as required.
  • Work closely with students, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all.
  • Assist in the supervision and coaching of sports such as hockey, netball, rounders, rugby, football, or cricket.
  • Participate in weekend and after-school activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the teaching and support team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Willingness to work in a residential post, living on-site during the term.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, including willingness to undergo appropriate checks.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience or interest in teaching and coaching physical education.

Preferred

  • Coaching experience in hockey, netball, rounders, rugby, football, or cricket.
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience with boarding school environments.
  • A background or interest in pursuing a PGCE or teaching qualification.
