Join a dynamic PE Faculty as a PE Teacher Assistant, assisting in the delivery of Sport/PE lessons, fixtures, and co-curricular activities across both Senior and Junior Schools. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of Sport/PE lessons across all year groups.
- Support the day-to-day running of a busy PE Faculty.
- Help organize and manage fixtures and co-curricular sporting events.
- Contribute to the development of boarding and school duties as required.
- Work closely with students, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all.
- Assist in the supervision and coaching of sports such as hockey, netball, rounders, rugby, football, or cricket.
- Participate in weekend and after-school activities as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the teaching and support team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Willingness to work in a residential post, living on-site during the term.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, including willingness to undergo appropriate checks.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or interest in teaching and coaching physical education.
Preferred
- Coaching experience in hockey, netball, rounders, rugby, football, or cricket.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
- Experience with boarding school environments.
- A background or interest in pursuing a PGCE or teaching qualification.
