The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring PE Teacher (Female Only) to deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons across the Pre-Prep and Prep School. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging PE curriculum in line with school schemes of work.
- Create high-quality learning experiences that enable all pupils to reach their full potential.
- Promote a strong work ethic, passion for PE, and a culture of high expectations.
- Teach and model positive attitudes, teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience.
- Differentiate provision to ensure every pupil can access and enjoy learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development and planning at long-, medium- and short-term levels.
- Engage with parents through meetings, updates, and communication as required.
- Participate fully in the co-curricular and school activity programme, including sports fixtures, clubs, and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree / PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification / Qualified Teacher Status.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
- A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL learners.
- An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools.
