The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled PE Teacher to join our team starting in August 2026. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality physical education programs aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other areas of the curriculum.
  • Support the development of vocational qualifications in sports and physical education.
  • Lead and coach in various sports including football, basketball, swimming, tennis, and wrestling.
  • Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in physical education and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with current trends and best practices in physical education and sports coaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in physical education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to teaching and learning with a focus on student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents.

Preferred

  • Experience in building vocational qualification programs (BTEC or equivalent).
  • Coaching qualifications in football (UEFA B and above), basketball (WABC L2 / L3 or professional), swimming (Swim England L2 & Elite), tennis (L3/4 or former national/world ranked), or wrestling (NCAA or professional).
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies in education.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England.
