Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that promote physical fitness and well-being.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s Skills for Life vision.
- Support students in developing teamwork, leadership, and life skills through sport and physical activity.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for students.
- Cover classes when required, ensuring continuity and a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote physical education and student engagement.
- Stay up to date with current best practices in PE and education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in physical education.
- Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering life skills through sport and physical activity.
- Experience with vocational and personal skills development.
