Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive PE lessons that engage students of all abilities
- Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing through innovative and inclusive teaching practices
- Create a classroom culture that values and supports every student
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a stimulating PE curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
- Maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment
- Support the school’s mission and values through positive engagement with students and staff
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the UK Physical Education curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Commitment to delivering inclusive and high-quality learning
Preferred
- Experience working with NQTs or ECTs
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports programs
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience with safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
