Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and continue developing it through ongoing professional learning.
• Deliver high-quality PE lessons that motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• Create opportunities for students to reflect on their learning and improve their performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in planning and delivering the curriculum effectively.
• Use digital tools such as Macbook, Touch Screen boards, and iPads to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support student well-being and promote a safe, purposeful learning environment.
• Contribute to whole school initiatives and participate in marketing and community engagement activities.
• Operate within the school’s policies and ensure compliance with health and safety, equal opportunities, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Physical Education.
• A teaching qualification such as a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Education, Postgraduate Diploma, or Certificate in Education.
• Ability to teach PE to all year groups from Primary to Secondary.
• Strong knowledge and ability to teach basketball, football, volleyball, and swimming at a high level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB MYP and IGCSE PE.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Experience with tracking, assessment, recording, and reporting student progress.
• Ability to use data effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Experience in creating learning opportunities that challenge and engage all students.
