The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Girls' PE Teacher to join a supportive and successful PE department. This role is central to promoting physical education and wellbeing among students, while contributing to a vibrant and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Develop and implement engaging physical education programs tailored to the needs of girls.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's mission and values.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in department planning and professional development activities.
- Support the wider school community through extracurricular sports and activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
- Experience in teaching girls' PE at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering sports programs.
- Experience with curriculum planning and assessment.
- Knowledge of current PE teaching methodologies.
- Experience with school-wide initiatives or extracurricular activities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of MPS/UPS £32,916 - £51,048 per annum.
