The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and qualified PE Teacher to join our team starting in January 2026. This role plays a vital part in promoting physical education and sport, contributing to the overall development and wellbeing of students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students of all ages.
  • Develop and implement sport-specific programs, including football, basketball, swimming, and tennis.
  • Promote a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s broader educational and extracurricular goals.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning through continuous professional development.

  • Manage and maintain sports equipment and facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching PE or related subjects.
  • Strong subject knowledge in physical education and sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student development and learning outcomes.

Preferred

  • Specialization in sports such as football (UEFA B and above), basketball (WABC L2/L3), swimming (Swim England L2 & Elite), or tennis (L3/4 or former national/world ranked).
  • Experience in developing vocational qualification programs (BTEC or equivalent).
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies in education.
