The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and talented PE Teacher - Whole School to join its dedicated faculty. This role offers the opportunity to teach PE across all age groups, from Early Years to Year 13, and to contribute to a thriving co-curricular sports programme that includes competitive and recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach curriculum PE to students across all year groups, including Early Years to Year 13.
- Deliver IGCSE and A Level academic PE courses where applicable.
- Contribute to a wide range of co-curricular sports activities, including competitive tournaments and friendly matches.
- Support the school’s pastoral care system by mentoring a small group of students and participating in the daily mentor programme.
- Participate in the school’s annual expeditions and other educational trips and residential visits.
- Collaborate with other PE teachers and teaching assistants to foster a culture of inclusivity and sporting excellence.
- Deliver weekly PSHE lessons as part of the school’s pastoral programme.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s co-curricular activities programme.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching PE across all age groups.
- Experience in delivering curriculum PE and academic PE courses such as IGCSE and A Level.
- Ability to contribute to co-curricular sports activities and programmes.
- Commitment to pastoral care and student wellbeing.
- Experience working in an international school setting.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to competitive sports teams or tournaments.
- Familiarity with FOBISIA and NISSA league structures and activities.
- Experience in mentoring or pastoral support roles.
- Experience in delivering PSHE or similar curriculum topics.
- Experience with educational trips and residential visits.
