The Opportunity:
As a People Advisor, you will be a key member of a dynamic HR team, providing expert guidance on employee relations and leading strategic HR projects. Your work will shape a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment law across a large and growing network of schools and nurseries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support managers and employees with complex employee relations matters
- Lead and manage key strategic HR projects
- Ensure compliance with employment law and best practices
- Contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to all levels of the organisation
- Collaborate with the HR Director to deliver HR strategies and initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new staff
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar HR or People Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in managing employee relations and conflict resolution
Preferred
- Experience working in the education sector
- Knowledge of managing large-scale HR projects
- Experience with HR software and systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of Christian values and ethos
