The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and talented Peripatetic Music Teacher to join its growing Performing Arts programme. This role offers the chance to inspire students, develop their artistic abilities, and contribute to shaping a dynamic and innovative curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective peripatetic lessons in music, singing, or dance
Inspire students to develop their technical skills, creativity, and confidence
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with academic and pastoral teams to support student development
Prepare students for performances, exams, and showcases
Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student progress
Report to the Performing Arts Coordinator on student progress and curriculum alignment
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Performing Arts programme

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Proven experience teaching your instrument, voice, or dance
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Strong communication and organisational skills
Professionalism, reliability, and flexibility

Preferred

Excited to be part of a growing Performing Arts programme
Experience with curriculum development or programme expansion
Ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and abilities
