The Opportunity:

As a Personal Assistant to the Head of Prep School, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head’s leadership and management of the Prep School. This is a key position that involves representing the school to parents, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Prep School in managing day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
  • Act as the first point of contact for external and internal stakeholders, including parents, governors, and staff.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and communications on behalf of the Head of Prep School.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for the Prep School.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for school events, including preparation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Office Team to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
  • Contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using office software and administrative systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of school operations and governance.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in supporting senior leadership roles.
