The Opportunity:

As a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the Headteacher’s responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage a busy schedule with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Headteacher with day-to-day administrative tasks and scheduling.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and school functions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Provide confidential support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in a senior administrative or support role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly within a school leadership team.
  • Knowledge of school operations and governance.
  • Experience with managing complex schedules and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
