The Opportunity:

As a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support, ensuring the Headteacher can focus on leading the school with confidence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Headteacher, including managing schedules, correspondence, and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for the Headteacher.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the Headteacher.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
  • Support the Headteacher in the implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Liaise with senior staff, external stakeholders, and other departments as needed.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the school's leadership team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a senior administrative or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email systems).

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or similar educational institution.
  • Knowledge of school operations and governance.
  • Experience in managing complex workloads and multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
