Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences in Physical and Health Education.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages student success, inclusivity, and personal growth.
- Support the development of international-mindedness across the school community.
- Plan and implement rich, challenging learning experiences aligned with the IB curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with students, parents, and school leaders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and student outcomes.
- Assess student progress effectively and use assessment to enhance learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelors degree in Physical and Health Education or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in a reputable school.
- Strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom.
- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills.
- Experience in IB or GCSE Physical and Health Education.
- A track record of outstanding student results.
- Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
- Strong communication and inter-cultural awareness skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB programme.
- Passion for creating innovative and challenging learning experiences.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
