As a Physical Education Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across all key stages and contribute to a dynamic extracurricular programme. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach high-quality PE lessons across Years 7–13
  • Deliver exam PE (GCSE/BTEC/A Level) based on experience
  • Support and lead in the school’s extensive extracurricular programme
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, participation, and sportsmanship
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver innovative PE curriculum
  • Assist in the organisation of fixtures, clubs, and team events
  • Contribute to departmental planning and professional development
  • Ensure inclusive and engaging PE lessons for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in PE and sport science
  • Confidence in delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons
  • Willingness to support teams, fixtures, and clubs
  • UK driving licence or willingness to complete minibus training

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching GCSE, BTEC, or A Level PE
  • Experience in behaviour management and student engagement
  • Background in sport science or related field
  • Experience with extracurricular sports programmes
