The Opportunity:
A Physical Education Teacher is needed to design and deliver a dynamic PE curriculum that supports whole-child development. This role integrates movement with academic learning, fostering social-emotional skills, teamwork, and self-regulation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, inclusive educator who values intentional practice and is passionate about student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a developmental PE curriculum across Early Years, PYP, and MYP
- Integrate Approaches to Learning (ATLs) explicitly into physical education lessons
- Coordinate and support school athletics and events
- Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments for all students
- Collaborate on the co-development of a swimming program
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Current first aid/CPR certification
- Experience with IB programmes or demonstrated alignment with inquiry-based teaching
Preferred
- Swimming coaching certificate
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment
- Familiarity with teaching in the Saudi Arabian context
