Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Education across the full age range, including examination groups.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that motivate students and achieve excellent results.
- Use data effectively to assess and track student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental and school-wide objectives.
- Develop and implement engaging and inclusive physical education programs.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
- Support the school's mission of Aspire, Challenge, Achieve through your teaching practice.
- Stay up to date with best practices in PE and education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Physical Education up to GCSE level
- Strong organisational and ICT skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience with effective assessment and data tracking
- Experience in an academy or multi-academy trust setting
- Previous experience with early career teachers or induction programs
- Passion for Physical Education and the ability to inspire students
