The Opportunity:

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting student well-being and healthy lifestyles through engaging and dynamic lessons. You will work within a supportive team to deliver the Physical Health Education curriculum, encouraging students to take ownership of their physical development and collaborate effectively with peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical development and healthy lifestyles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse student abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the IB MYP curriculum and innovative teaching practices.
  • Use differentiation strategies to support students with varying learning needs.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Encourage student participation and leadership in physical education and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments in line with school policies and standards.
  • Support the school’s mission of developing independent, curious, and globally minded students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree and a DUO recognized teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU.
  • Experience in creating inclusive and differentiated learning environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to promoting lifelong healthy habits and student well-being.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB MYP curriculum.
  • Background in working with students from diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement new teaching methods.
  • Experience in collaborating across disciplines, particularly in the Humanities.

  • Competitive salary within scale LB (min. € 3.301,- max € 5.277,-) according to CAO VO.
