Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physical Education lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE.
  • Support students in their personal development through pastoral tutoring and personalized learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular program by leading and participating in sports and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Support the House system by assisting with competitions and events.
  • Provide constructive feedback and assessments to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in the school’s Continuing Professional Development Programme.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages student well-being and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualifications.
  • Experience using the English National Curriculum in Physical Education.
  • Knowledge of teaching Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education.
  • A commitment to ongoing personal development and growth.
  • A passionate, caring, and team-focused attitude.

Preferred

  • Experience with personalised learning and assessment strategies.
  • Experience with the House system and extracurricular program delivery.
  • Experience in pastoral tutoring or student support roles.
