The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at A Level and IGCSE, engaging students and fostering a love for the subject.
  • Plan and develop innovative and effective teaching resources aligned with the British National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple schools to ensure a consistent and high-standard educational experience.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized attention and guidance.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives to enhance teaching practices.
  • Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Physics at A Level and IGCSE.
  • Excellent knowledge of the British National Curriculum.
  • A B.Ed., P.G.C.E., or equivalent qualification.
  • English as a first language.

Preferred

  • Two years of experience teaching within the British Curriculum.
  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
