The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated Physics Teacher to join our team and contribute to the delivery of IB DP and AP curricula. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the academic experience of students and fostering a culture of excellence in science education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics instruction aligned with IB DP and AP standards, as well as American Common Core Standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging, innovative, and technology-integrated lesson plans.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports students with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and targeted feedback.
  • Stay current with advancements in Physics education and integrate relevant technologies into teaching.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider academic community.
  • Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching certification (e.g., Teaching License, PGCE, Teaching Diploma).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.

Preferred

  • A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience with Inclusion, SEND, or EAL strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience with technology integration in the classroom.
  • Strong CPD portfolio or additional professional qualifications.
  • Experience with American Common Core Standards and Advance Placement (AP) curricula.
